The “National Library Week”, initiated by the Armenian Library Association, will be held from April 13 to 20 under the slogan “School Libraries in the Sphere of Innovation”.

Various events are planned during the week, in which Armenian libraries will participate.

Within the framework of the program, a seminar-discussion on the theme “Current Problems of the Library” will be held for librarians of Yerevan school libraries. Professional visits to regional and community libraries of the Republic of Armenia will be organized. There will be a cognitive visit to the library of the “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” educational complex, a seminar-exchange of experience with the participation of the libraries of the “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” educational complex and the “Shirakatsi Seminary” international scientific and educational complex.

The program includes a meeting with Rafik Ghazaryan, a librarian, bibliographer, and vice-president of the Armenian Library Association. The “Support to School Libraries” initiative-action will also be implemented during the week, with the support of the “Edit Print” publishing house.

“National Library Week” will be concluded on April 20, presenting the results of the week.
