The “National Library Week” has started, held on the initiative of the Armenian Library Association under the motto “Library- an inclusivity platform”.

As part of the National Library Week, a webinar entitled “Library for All: Inclusive Programs of the Latvian National Library” was held today at Khnko Aper National Children’s Library. The webinar was attended by about 60 employees of both Khnko Aper National Children’s Library  , as well as Yerevan public libraries, Artashat and Etchmiadzin public libraries.
The webinar was conducted by specialists from the Information Department of the Latvian National Library Kristine Kazaka and Liena Mukane.
They presented the programs implemented by the library, talked about the approaches they follow, and shared the experience of the “Library for All” initiative. The speakers also presented all the initiatives that are being implemented for various inclusive groups.
